Went to have prime rib at 650pm on Saturday night and they were out? Really.. Service was bad. Won't be back.
Spent the weekend in Elkader and found this delightful little gem. I ordered the Whiskey steak and my sister ordered the Bangers and Mash.

The food was excellent but my rave would be how absolutely fantastic the potatoes(champs) were! They are better than my mothers and that woman can absolutely cook. Our server Dakota was highly attentive and a total joy to converse with. I will be back to try the Walnut Burger for certain.
My goto place for wings when I'm out riding. Wide range of flavors, homemade ranch and blue cheese... the ONLY thing they could do to make them better would be to get them a little crisper. But great food and atmosphere.
