My mother-in-law wanted to do something special for my father-in-law for his 60th birthday, and I suggested staying here. I will admit, I created the website, but this was my first time being able to experience The Twisted Cedar as a guest. In the course of the Labor Day weekend, the kids got to see the animals over at Osborne across the road, we spent a whole day at Backbone park due to the short travel distance, and we enjoyed the fire pit that overlooks the Volga River both nights. It was a great place for the whole family to enjoy. Not only that, the caretaker provides personal touches to make you feel the place was prepared especially for you. I highly recommend this place due to it's authenticity and natural surroundings.
